Till date we haven’t seen any Telugu movie releasing in parts though the trend is quite evident in Bollywood and Hollywood. But it is heard from sources that ace director Rajamouli is going to create a sort of records with this new experiment.
Movies like Raktacharitra and Gangs of Wasseypur released in two parts in India and created a sensation. According to sources, Rajamouli’s latest big budgeted flick ‘Baahubali’ will also be released in two parts. The visualization of final version of the script is accounting to 4.5 hours of run time and our director is unable to find any ways to trim down the length of the flick by chopping some scenes.
Apparently there should be a gap of month at least to release the two parts but they cannot release it at once. And The production house Arka Media Works which is producing this mega project has registered the title ‘Mahabali‘ with the Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber.Two titles are for two parts ! official confirmation awaited from rajamouli.
‘Baahubali – ‘Mahabali’ is a trilingual (Telugu, Tamil, Hindi) made on a budget of nearly Rs 100 crore. The film stars Prabhas, Anushka, Rana Daggubati in the lead roles. It is known that both Prabhas and Rana have fully grown their beard. These new looks are for their upcoming project in the direction of Rajamouli.
The pre-production work of Mahabali is going on since few months and the regular shooting will begin in this month. Film lovers need to wait for at least one more year to see the celluloid wonder of Rajamouli as his films will usually take such long time due to heavy duty action sequences and visual effects.
